Yibing Wang is a full professor with Institute of Intelligent Transportation Systems at Zhejiang University, China. His research interests include road traffic flow modeling, surveillance, and control; connected & automated vehicles. Dr. Wang received his Ph.D. degree in Control Theory and Applications from Tsinghua University, China, in 1998. He was a Postdoc/Research Fellow/Senior Research Fellow with the Dynamic Systems and Simulation Laboratory, Technical University of Crete, Greece, from 1999 to 2007. He was a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Civil Engineering, Monash University, Australia from 2007 to 2013. He joined Zhejiang University in 2013. His research has been financially supported by the European Commission (EC), the Australian Research Council (ARC), the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), the National Key R&D Program of China. He has published over 70 journals articles and book chapters.
Dr. Wang is a Senior Editor for the IEEE Transactions on Intelligent Transportation Systems, and an Associate Editor for Transportation Research Part C: Emerging Technologies. He is a member of the International Federation of Automatic Control (IFAC) Technical Committee on Transportation Systems, and was a member of the Traffic Flow Theory Committee of the Transportation Research Board (TRB) of the US National Academy. He was a Program Co-Chair, Program Chair, and vice Program Chair of the IEEE International Conference on Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITSC) in 2020, 2014, 2010, 2006.
Xianghua Yu received the B.S. degree from the Hefei University of Technology in 2017. Currently, he is a Ph.D. candidate in the Institute of Intelligent Transportation Systems, Zhejiang University. His research interests include traffic flow modeling, freeway traffic control and intelligent transportation systems.
Xufeng Jin received the bachelor degree in Electronic Engineering from the Beijing Jiaotong University in 2020. He is currently pursuing a Master degree in the Institute of Intelligent Transportation Systems, Zhejiang University. His research interests include freeway traffic control in a connected and automated vehicle environment, and intelligent transportation systems.
Peng Yang received the B.S. degree in transportation engineering from Huazhong University of Science and Technology, China, in 2021. He is currently a master student with the Institute of Intelligent Transportation Systems, Zhejiang University, China. His research interests include connected automated vehicles, traffic flow modeling, and urban traffic signal control.
Fengyue Jin received the B.S. degree from the Central South University, China, in 2022. She is now pursuing her PhD degree in the Institute of Intelligent Transportation Systems, Zhejiang University, China. Her research interests include traffic flow modeling, freeway traffic control with connected automated vehicles, and intelligent transportation systems.
